During the past year, Dynamit Nobel Defence and the Egon Harig company have successfully been placing fire alarm- and Dynameco aerosol extinguishing systems as fire prevention in wind power plants in Germany.
The environmental-friendly and simple system is notably more cost-effective than the conventional technologies. Dynameco fire extinguishing generators are applied in the three risk areas of wind power plants. Within the area of the nacelle, the transformer room and within the closed switch cabinets. Dynameco fire extinguishing generators are light in weight require little mounting space, have no unnecessary pressure tanks or piping, which make them the perfect system for wind power plants.
Fire alarm- and aerosol extinguishing systems have already been successfully installed within the wind power plant at VESTAS, DE-Wind and RePower. The integration phase of the system has already begun at the company Enercon. Large insurance companies support the technology of the system as the insurance companies are already preparing sanctions for fire prevention within wind power plants.
